PIAA Members Meet with Congressional Leaders at Capitol Hill Day 2017

PIAA played host to member company physician leaders and legislative professionals from across the country during its annual Capitol Hill Day on June 6. Participants met with congressional leaders to educate them on key legislative and policy issues including the Good Samaritan Health Professionals Act of 2017, telemedicine liability, and federal tort reform. The meetings were especially timely given the pending vote in the U.S. House of Representatives on medical liability reform legislation.
